To us, Income Tax Return preparation is NOT entering a bunch of numbers into software and spitting out a return.  Anyone can do that.  We won't because you deserve better.  Whether it is business or personal, we will produce a commentary with analysis of your 2011 return and suggestions for 2012.  Business owners, we can take care of all of your year end processing from franchise taxes to 1099s.

If you own a small business and haven't kept up your bookkeeping, don't worry. We can help you. We'll prepare your bookkeeping for the year, prepare a full Schedule C or whatever return you need, as well as your personal income tax return. Then we'll help you set up an easy system that allows you to keep your books in tip-top shape next year.

  • Our software finds potential problems the IRS may look at more closely and it reviews the math to limit IRS contacts.  We'll also look for missed deductions and credits.
  • We'll file your returns electronically so you will get a faster refund.  It's also more secure.
  • We'll calculate any estimated quarterly tax deposit requirements or suggest appropriate withholding so you avoid those nuisance "failure to deposit" penalties.
  • We will never send your sensitive tax data overseas for processing, like more and more firms are doing. 
  • If necessary, we will automatically file extensions for you for just a $30 fee.

What you won't get is a hard copy of your tax return unless you ask.  Our clients told us that those thick stacks of paper jam up file cabinets, waste space, and are bad for the environment.  We agree.  And most accounting firms have stopped that practice as well.  So we put your finished returns into a secure vault that only you can access.  Download the returns onto your own computer, and you won't have to worry about where to store that awkward tax folder.  Oh.  Don't forget to back up your data and make sure your files are secure from outside intruders.
