How We Process Your Individual Income Tax Returns

We'd love to show you how easy it is to work with us to get your Individual Income Tax Returns completed. 

Just contact us to get things started.  Once we hear from you, here is what you can expect:

First, we'll gather information and learn about you.  We'll give you a Tax Organizer that helps you pull together your documentation and gives us background on your unique situation.  If you have never worked with us before, we'll also need your previous year's Income Tax Returns.  We also include an Engagement Letter that spells out our services and prices in detail.

Once we receive your Tax Organizer, signed Engagement Letter and your documents, your files and documents will be secured and put in line for processing.  If you don't hear from us right away, don't worry.  Be assured that we will process your Income Tax Returns as quickly as possible.  We take extra time to make sure we give each Income Tax Return the close attention and scrutiny you want and deserve.  Of course, you can always contact us during this time, too.  Remember that as we get closer to April 15, our workload skyrockets, and we will answer all inquiries as quickly as we can.

After we do the initial processing and review of your Income Tax Returns, we will contact you with any questions or comments we have.  Usually our questions involve documentation that may be missing or issues that need clarification.  Once we resolve those matters, your Income Tax Returns, Filing Instructions, and our Invoice will be uploaded into our secure vault for your review.  We will provide you with instructions on how to access the vault.

We electronically file (e-file) all Income Tax Returns, so after you review your Income Tax Return drafts, please follow the instructions to return your e-file authorization forms to us and to provide us with payment information for our billing.  We cannot transmit your Income Tax Returns until we receive your payment.  We accept major credit cards and checks.

Once your returns are accepted by the tax agencies, we will put final copies of your Income Tax Returns (including e-file acknowledgments) and critical data into our secure vault for you to either download or store at your convenience, and we will return your backup documentation to you.  This is a faster, environmentally friendly and more efficient way to receive your final tax returns.  You will also be able to access your returns from anywhere, and only you will know how to gain access.
